Update and Conferences

In my last post I talked about my bipolar disorder. The fantastic part is, I am getting better. Not in the way of I’m getting over having it, but in the way of having the right medication that is actually working. I’m currently taking seven classes in school and anticipate getting a 4.0 this semester. I’m only two weeks in, but I’m already well ahead on schedule on all of my assignments. Life is going well, and I was excited to tell you all that.

Now that the update is over, time to inform you of all of the awesome stuff happening in 2014! All of this is on my calendar and I will be able to go to most the conferences, so I hope to see you there!

Life, The Universe, and Everything – also known as LTUE – is 13-15 of February. It’s free for students, which makes me happy since I am one. Yay for spending less money! For all you normal people out there, it costs $45 for the whole conference or $30 for one day. You can also have the options of $30 for the gala banquet, $15 for the magic tournament, and $20 for a pitch session. This is a very cool conference. I’m excited for it.

Writing for Charity is on the 22 of March. It is at the Provo Library this year. I went two years ago and enjoyed myself a lot. I believe it was my first writing conference. What a great way to get into the writing world. They use any money spent on buying books for children without enough. And that is definitely a worthy cause.

Write Here in Ephraim is on the 29 of March, one week later. Also free for students, it is hosted at Snow College in Ephraim city, thus the name. I went last year and I’m looking forward to this year as well. If you search for my name on that page, you’ll find me! I felt important when that happened. :)

On the 25-26 of April LDStorymakers will be at the Davis Conference Center. This is definitely a conference worth going to. I’ve gone the last two years and have learned a lot both times. There are so many classes, it’s always hard to figure out which ones to go to. It’s $185 for both days, $105 for Friday only, or $80 for Saturday only. There are also a lot of other options which are all on the page the link goes to.

That’s all the conferences I have planned so far. Let me know if there are any more, and I’ll add them.
